Two Important Steps

In reflecting on my journey and while guiding others through their journeys, I’ve come to realize that two steps stand out from the others.

Step 1 – Believe You Can

Step 10 – Grow and Evolve

Those two steps get repeated a LOT!

As you work your way through each step, you may encounter obstacles —

— Mental – believing that you can be successful
— Emotional – fear, overwhelm, and loneliness
— Logistical – things don’t go as planned

I knew that I needed to coach not only the “How To” of creating a business –

— Planning out what you’ll offer

— Attracting customers

— Spreading the word about your business

I also needed to coach the mental part of creating a business —

— How to get past the fear

— How to feel good about receiving compensation for your services

— How to feel confident being yourself in your business

And of course there is always the tech aspect of creating and running a business:

We cover all 10 steps in three months and go through them four times during the year we spend together. Each step will give you skills, tools, and ideas that you can apply to your business when you are ready.

Mindset Think-shop where you’ll get tools to help you navigate the mental and emotional obstacles of starting and running a business.

Coaching on the steps of the 10-step Roadmap to Creating a Heart-filled Virtual Business

Support through the social group and messaging

Access to the resources that are always being expanded and updated.

Tech Create-shops

During the Tech Create-shops, I will show you how to use a tech application that is related to one of the steps and show you how to use them for your business. The Tech Create-shops show you not only how to do things step-by-step but get into why and how to apply what you’re learning.

Some of the topics you can expect are:

— Using Canva to create lead magnet PDF files. We cover not only how to use the tools in Canva, but also design considerations and items every good lead magnet should have to make it a valuable tool in attracting customers.

— Using Google Docs and Google Forms to create landing pages and sign-up forms. Business tech does not have to be expensive or impressive. A simple Google Doc can do the trick to get customers into your programs. We’ll look at how to use Google Docs and what goes into a great landing page.

— Using Google Sheets to track income and expenses as well as forecasting and planning for business growth. Managing money is important and a stack of receipts in a drawer is not the best approach to recordkeeping. We’ll go through creating formulas that won’t give you flashbacks to high school math. We’ll look at using formatting to make them pretty for when you need to share them with others.

Mindset Think-shops

Because I know from my own experience that mindset can be a challenge when creating a business, I want to make sure that you get a collection of mindset tools to help you with whatever comes up.

You will get access to my 21 Days to a Rocking New Mindset program that you can use to build your own daily mindset habits.

In the Mindset Think-shops, we will work together to practice how to use different techniques to help you bounce back from the doubts, fears, and setbacks.

Some of the topics you can expect are:

— Nurturing a Creative Mindset. Creativity is a key to solving problems and growing a business. Even if you already consider yourself creative, we will look at the 5 ways to nurture your innate creativity — yes, we are ALL creative. We’ve just forgotten how to express it.

— Creative Organizing. Staying organized and keeping up with where things stand on various projects or what we need to do next for a client can be difficult. Most people who teach organizing don’t take into account how the creative mind works. We’ll look at how you can find a way of keeping track of things that works for you.

— Money Mindset. Although we know we are in business to make money, we encounter mental obstacles to allowing money to flow to us. We’ll discuss how everything is energy — including money, and how to ensure it flows to us and through us.

Roadmap Business Coaching

We meet each week for a group coaching call. During the coaching call each week I will cover one step of the 10-step Roadmap to Creating Your Heart-filled Virtual Business.

The calls are interactive and consist of a combination of presentations, group projects, and questions and answers. The calls may not be directly related to where you are on the roadmap but will provide you with valuable insights for when you do get to that point.

All of the Tech Create-shops, Mindset Think-shops, and Coaching calls are recorded and will be posted to the library and available to you for review at any point — even after you leave the coaching program.

Support and Lifetime Access

We have an off-Facebook social platform that all members of the coaching program will have access to as long as they have an active membership. Members are encouraged to post questions, ask for feedback, and share wins with the group.

I will be available through messaging to give support, answer questions, and guide you on your journey. I will typically respond within 24 hours and will keep you informed if I will be unavailable for more than a day.

Meetings will be held in Zoom through the platform and recordings will be posted to the library.

The library will have additional resources – videos, PDFs, and links – that will be available to you even after you are no longer a part of the coaching program.
